Abstract
In this paper, travelling wave solutions for the generalized Burgers–Huxley equation are studied. By using the first-integral method, which is based on the ring theory of commutative algebra, we obtain a class of travelling solitary wave solutions for the generalized Burgers–Huxley equation. A minor error in the literature is clarified.
