Abstract
The aim of this paper is to construct the double nonlinear wave solutions of the (2 + 1)-dimensional asymmetric version of the Nizhnik–Novikov–Veselov (ANNV) equation by means of double F-expansion approach. As a result, families of double Jacobi elliptic function-like solutions and double solitary wave-like solutions of the (2 + 1)-dimensional ANNV equation are successfully constructed. This method is very valid to some other (2 + 1)-dimensional soliton equations.
