Abstract
In this paper, a synchronization criterion of time-delay feedback control system with sector-bounded nonlinearity has been considered. First, several new delay-independent and delay-dependent sufficient conditions have been derived by using the Lyapunov functional method and linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. Then, some new less conservative delay-dependent synchronization criteria are derived by applying free weighting matrices to express the relationships between the terms in the Leibniz–Newton formula. Finally, a numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the method.
