Abstract
We consider an age-sex-structured population dynamics model taking into account spatial diffusion, temporal pairs (for period of mating) and child care. All individuals have pre-reproductive, reproductive, and post-reproductive age intervals. Females of reproductive age are divided into single, fertilized and taking child care classes. Individuals of pre-reproductive age are divided into young (under maternal care) and juvenile groups. Juveniles can live without maternal care, but cannot reproduce. Separable solutions to this model and to the nondispersing population model are studied and numerical results are given.
