Abstract
This investigation deals with the peristaltic motion of an incompressible non-Newtonian fluid in a planar channel for long wavelength. The mechanical properties of the material are represented by the constitutive equation for a Burger's fluid. Perturbation solutions are developed for stream function, the axial velocity and pressure rise over a wavelength. The influence of various emerging parameters on the flow is shown through graphs and discussed.
