Abstract
We consider a sublinear elliptic BVP on the unit square and recall that a semilinear elliptic boundary value problem has five solutions when the range of the derivative of the nonlinearity includes at least the first two eigenvalues. In this article we apply the Lyapunov-Schmidt reduction method to obtain fifth solution.
