Abstract
In this paper, the α-stability is discussed for a class of linear systems with multiple time delays. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii stability theory for functional differential equations and the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, new sufficient condition is derived for the exponential stability with a given convergence rate. The obtained result is less conservative than those in the literature. Two numerical examples are given to illustrate the superiority of our one to the previous.
