Abstract
A new model and algorithm for the optimization of granularity distribution is proposed. Firstly, a basic optimization model is established and its rationality is proved. Then from the property that the model is a generalized (signomial) geometric programming, the algorithm for solving the model is designed. The feasibility of the model and algorithm is validated by solving an actual problem with them.
