Abstract
This paper extends data envelopment analysis (DEA) to measure the progress and regress of a production unit and its sub-units in two periods of time. Frontier shifts outward and inward interpreted as progress and regress are measured here. The proposed approach is applied to a real data set consisting 28 bank branches in Iran.
