Abstract
In this paper some methods for motion data filtering are constructed. There is an urgent need for innovative solutions in processing motion capture data. We have based our work on image processing algorithms, which use solutions of partial differential equations. Methods constructed with this solution, give interesting results for filtering of quaternions sequences representing motion data. The comparison of linear and nonlinear filtering is performed and presented for synthetic and real motion capture data.
