Abstract
In this paper, we utilize the P1-P0 macro-element to develop a postprocessing finite volume element procedure for time-dependent Stokes equations. The method raises by one order the H1 norm rate of convergence of the velocity and correspondingly the L2 norm of the pressure. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the theoretical analysis.
