Abstract
In the paper different ways of estimation of the spectral radii of operators arising in WR methods are discussed. Elementary tools are used among which the weighted norm technique seems to be the simplest. The advantage of this technique clearly demonstrates itself in the case of delay differential equations where the estimation of the spectral radius depends on the character of delays.
