Abstract
We solve an old question of Arhangelskii (the “Moore–Mrowka with CH problem”) by showing that the existence of a compact countably tight non-sequential space does not follow from the Continuum Hypothesis. Such spaces have long been known to exist under the stronger assumption ⋄.
