Abstract
Maps which induce homomorphisms between generalized Gottlieb groups are called cyclic-element preserving maps. The sets of these maps are homotopy invariant. The set of homotopy classes of pair maps is introduced to study cyclic-element preserving maps. Cofibration sequences are studied in connection with self maps and conditions are obtained for the sets to be monoids or groups.
