The purpose of this work is to prove a two-dimensional result showing a small gain in regularity for nonlinear quantities with respect to their apparent regularity. Precisely, we prove that if a vector field v=(v1,v2)v=(v1,v2) belongs to L∞(0,T;L2(Ω))∩L2(0,T;H01(Ω)), then vivjvivj and its first derivatives belong to L2(0,T;Hz1(Ω)), where Hz1(Ω) is defined as the Hardy space in Ω.
