Abstract
⺠We studied the characteristics of dust on a proglacial floodplain in Greenland. ⺠Wind speeds were too low to entrain mixed floodplain sediments. ⺠The dust source was a recent meltwater flood deposit. ⺠Meltwater fine sediment load, and dust storms may increase with glacier retreat.
