Abstract
Water quality assessment in rivers has attained considerable importance in recent years. Water quality modeling and subsequent prediction can be one of the most important potential tools for water quality management in rivers. In this regard, the current paper highlights the importance of water quality assessments in river. From the calibration of water quality model MIXPIPOX, the process parameters were estimated for the study segment of the river. The observed DO values are somewhat higher than the predicated DO values in all the downstream distances.
