Abstract
⺠Erosion rates in interior WAIS are amongst the lowest from Antarctica. ⺠Continuous polar environment in interior WAIS since Late Miocene. ⺠Interior WAIS did not thicken during Pliocene warm period. ⺠Ice sheet model predictions are consistent with cosmogenic nuclide data. ⺠More frequent collapsed-WAIS states and smaller WAIS volumes during the Pliocene.
