Abstract
⺠Multiple analyses were used to determine the origin of curved folds. ⺠Analyses include mapping structural, and paleomagnetic studies. âºÂ Tranverse zones are defined by the along-strike termination of faults and folds. ⺠The Curved shape of folds is related to anisotropy of the basement. ⺠The regional strike-slip faults cause the clockwise rotations in La Hocha Anticline.
