Abstract
► New interpretation of 2D seismic lines on the foreland of the Colombian Andes. ► We document a pattern of normal faults affecting the Cenozoic in the Llanos foreland. ► Our work correlates contractional orogenesis and foreland normal faulting. ► We thus favor a model of flexural extension coeval with hinterland contraction.
