Abstract
⺠Gyprock weathering is recognized in the field and microscope with specific features. ⺠Specific microscopic features characterize the weathering on gyprock exposures. ⺠The growth of gypsum crystals inside gyprock cause its weathering. ⺠The gypsum crystallization pressure inside the gyprock increases its volume.
