Abstract
⺠Cosmogenic 10Be and 26Al record slow denudation processes on the eastern Altiplano. ⺠Our data proposes long-term steady-state conditions on the eastern Altiplano. ⺠Cosmogenic in situ 14C allows quantifying sediment storage. ⺠Sediment residence times of at least 11-20 ky occur over distances of only a few km.
