Abstract
⺠We examined the effects of forest harvesting on the frequency of mass movements. ⺠We also investigated the spatial distribution of sediment stored in a catchment. ⺠Landslides occur during moderate rainfall events in young forests. ⺠Volume of channel deposits was not clearly related to forest age. ⺠Bedload transport rate was highly affected by sediment storage volume.
