Abstract
⺠We use mapping and augering to study the origin of the upper Lake Agassiz beaches. ⺠Beaches are poorly developed and consist of mostly poorly sorted sediments. ⺠Each named strandline consists of multiple beach ridges. ⺠The upper Lake Agassiz beaches in Manitoba were likely formed by storms. ⺠The age between successive beaches is only 29 to 50 years.
