Abstract
⺠Slope morphometry were compared with badlands drainage network on a statistical basis. ⺠A new morphometric index identifies the initial geometry of pre-badlands slope. ⺠Network organisation and eroded volume are proportional to the new index. ⺠The new index could be used for predictive purposes and other slope processes.
