Abstract
⺠There is still an incomplete development of megafan facies model. ⺠We provide the characterization of a megafan from a northern Amazonia wetlands. ⺠The fan-shaped morphology is dominated by channel and overbank deposits. ⺠This example can serve as a good analog of megafans from tropical wetlands. ⺠The megafan formed due to mild subsidence combined with a monsoon climatic regime.
