Abstract
⺠We describe a late Quaternary palaeovalley carved in a 55 m-thick ignimbrite. ⺠A transgressive-regressive succession is recorded above a terraced palaeotopography. ⺠Holocene deposits include estuarine to nearshore and deltaic facies associations. ⺠We document the use of the meiofauna for high-resolution sequence stratigraphy.
