Abstract
► We describe a late Quaternary palaeovalley carved in a 55 m-thick ignimbrite. ► A transgressive-regressive succession is recorded above a terraced palaeotopography. ► Holocene deposits include estuarine to nearshore and deltaic facies associations. ► We document the use of the meiofauna for high-resolution sequence stratigraphy.
