Abstract
⺠We document short-term synrift (Early Jurassic) carbonate platform progradation. ⺠Prograding clinoforms made use of accommodation space produced by extensional fault. ⺠The slope was a Lithocodium- and other microproblematicaâdominated carbonate factory. ⺠Progradation was aborted due to hangingwall subsidence outpacing sedimentation rates. ⺠The downfaulted former slope is overlain by a turbidite-dominated bypass wedge.
