Abstract
⺠Modern and Holocene non-detrital dolomite occurs in Manito Lake, Saskatchewan. ⺠Dolomite occurs as boundstones, cements in beachrock and in microbialites. ⺠We interpret the dolomite to be entirely primary in origin. ⺠Petrographic and geochemical evidence indicates mainly biomediated precipitation.
