Abstract
► Modern and Holocene non-detrital dolomite occurs in Manito Lake, Saskatchewan. ► Dolomite occurs as boundstones, cements in beachrock and in microbialites. ► We interpret the dolomite to be entirely primary in origin. ► Petrographic and geochemical evidence indicates mainly biomediated precipitation.
