Abstract
⺠Resistor networks are used to model electrical anisotropy due to hydrogen diffusivity. ⺠The results are presented as resistivity-depth profiles. ⺠MT data synthesised from these results do not resolve anisotropy in the lithosphere. ⺠In the adiabatic region below the thermal lithosphere anisotropy is resolvable. ⺠Electrical anisotropy factors are less than 4.5.
