Abstract
⺠Glasses of Macquarie Island ophiolite represent melting and fractionation processes. ⺠Relative compatibility of correlated major, trace and volatile elements is estimated. ⺠Behaviour of metals, metalloids and volatile elements during melting is evaluated. ⺠Mantle source composition is quantified for volatiles (H2O, Cl, B) and some metals.
