Abstract
âºEtna source was depleted by previous low-degree melting in the presence of garnet. âºEtna magmas show a FOZO-type signature with contributions of EM1-type material. âºMagmas with distinct εHf ascend towards the surface with different timescales. âºThe enriched component may be silicate melts which metasomatized the source. âºSmall-scale heterogeneity produces geochemical changes of Etna magmas at any timescale.
