Abstract
⺠We formulated equations to calculate shear direction within fault-bounded blocks. ⺠We determined variations of simple shear angles in Sierra de San Miguelito, Mexico. ⺠Pyroclastic dykes filled in Riedel shear fractures rather than in tension fractures.
