Abstract
âºNew 40Ar/39Ar analyses put time constraints on the most recent SVD eruptive activity. âºSVD volcanism maintained a typical areal character through the whole history. âºThe most recent eruptive activity in the SVD took place at least up to 90 ka. âºThe SVD has to be considered a dormant, rather than extinct, volcanic district.
