Abstract
⺠First description of coherent margined volcaniclastic dikes (CMVDs). ⺠A discussion of the interaction of basaltic dikes and ice-cemented host sediments. ⺠Similar dikes should be found in glacial environments on earth and Mars. ⺠Glaciovolcanic heat transfer models may need to include ice-cemented sediments. ⺠Dike infills represent non-explosive mixing of magma and water.
