Abstract
⺠Kid Group in SE Sinai includes Um Zariq, Melhaq Heib and Tarr Formations. ⺠Um Zariq (647 to 813 Ma) may represent relicts of a Cryogenian sequence. ⺠Melhaq, Heib and Tarr Formations intruded by ~ 604 Ma alkali granite. ⺠Magamtic activities in the Kid area compare well with the Dokhan Volcanics. ⺠The positive εNd(t) values for Kid Group indicate a juvenile source magma.
