Abstract
⺠Medium-P amphibolites from the accretionary margin of Gondwana during the Ross Orogen. ⺠Boninite-type and tholeiite protoliths were part of a backarc/forearc environment. ⺠Regional amphibolite-facies metamorphism developed at T â 690 °C, P â 0.9 GPa. ⺠Later shear deformation induced recrystallization at T up to 600 °C, P â¤Â 0.4 GPa. ⺠It contributes to the knowledge of the Ross subduction-accretion orogen in Antarctica.
