Abstract
► Medium-P amphibolites from the accretionary margin of Gondwana during the Ross Orogen. ► Boninite-type and tholeiite protoliths were part of a backarc/forearc environment. ► Regional amphibolite-facies metamorphism developed at T ≈ 690 °C, P ≈ 0.9 GPa. ► Later shear deformation induced recrystallization at T up to 600 °C, P ≤ 0.4 GPa. ► It contributes to the knowledge of the Ross subduction-accretion orogen in Antarctica.
