Abstract
⺠Zircon dating in granites of SW Iberia evidence Cadomian deformation before c. 526 Ma. ⺠Sources of the Early Cambrian rocks derived from the West African craton. ⺠Sources show age clusters in the Late Cryogenian-Ediacaran interval (c. 640-560 Ma). ⺠Sources reflect a long-lived magmatic arc in the northern margin of Gondwana.
