Abstract
âºThe Sarıçimen quartz monzodiorite plutons are clearly subduction-related. âºThe pluton having a high-K, calc-alkaline nature. âºThe pluton mantle-derived and contaminated from crustal material during ascent. âºThis magmatism comprises the earliest documented neotectonic igneous activity. âºIgneous activity is related with the final closure of the neo-Tethys at ~ 14-13 Ma.
