Abstract
⺠Coral-shell layer underlying mangrove forest interpreted as paleotsunami deposit. ⺠Tsunami sand-sheets within mangrove forests are spatially restricted and bioturbated. ⺠C14 ages suggest that the tsunami occurred sometime between 2720 and 4290 cy BP. ⺠The coral-shell layer may match with a deposit on the SW Indian coast ca. 3710 cy BP.
