Abstract
► Time-dependent deformations of a gallery in claystone rock mass were simulated. ► The viscous constitutive model Hou/Lux-T was used from a phenomenological viewpoint. ► A mine-by-test simulation yielded a qualitative match of results with measurements. ► 2D and 3D simulations yielded very similar results regarding long-term deformations.
