Abstract
⺠New method of numeric dating for Arctic Ocean (AO) sediments. ⺠Micro-hole photon-stimulated luminescence (MH-PSL) applied to quartz grains in central AO. ⺠MH-PSL dating overcomes previous polymineral fine-silt age overestimation from AO core tops. ⺠Medium- to coarse-silt quartz is preferred for future dating of AO sediments.
