Abstract
⺠Beach sand deposits along the southeastern coast of Norway were dated by OSL and IRSL. ⺠TL, OSL, LM were applied to described luminescence characteristics. ⺠Quartz shows poor luminescence characteristics and only a limited number of quartz samples were dateable. ⺠IRSL shows no fading and represent an alternative to OSL dating.
