Abstract
⺠We applied four different luminescence dating approaches to indirectly date remains of woolly mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius). ⺠Sediment in near surface karst hole was well bleached prior to deposition. ⺠All four approaches give consistent ages of ca. 63 ka indicating mammoth remains were buried during MIS 4.
