Abstract
												⺠First high precision zircon U-Pb ages from the Sittampundi Anorthosite Complex (SAC) suggesting crystallization at 2541 ± 13 Ma. ⺠Geochemical features suggest suprasubduction zone arc magmatism in a convergent margin setting. ⺠Neoarchean continental growth at the margin of Dharwar Craton in southern India.
