Abstract
⺠Five fusuline intervals were revealed in sequence in the Middle Permian paleoatoll limestone in Japan. ⺠The extinction of fusuline occurred regardless of the Permian biogeographic provincialism in mid-Panthalassa. ⺠The paleo-latitude of the boundary between the Yabeina and Lepidolina territories was 12°S.
