Abstract
⺠SHRIMP U-Pb ages of detrital zircons from the Ogcheon Metamorphic Belt, Korea. ⺠Protolith ages and distribution patterns of zircons define two lithotectonic packages. ⺠Tectonic affinities of these packages significantly differ from each other. ⺠They are compatible with those of South and North China cratons, respectively. ⺠The suturing of these allochthons is a product of Permo-Triassic continental collision.
