Abstract
⺠The results of the seismogeological study of main fault of the Tunka rift is presented. ⺠Dating of the paleoseismic activity along the Tunka fault during the Holocene carried out. ⺠Age estimation has been made for the previously unknown paleoearthquake. ⺠The mean recurrence period for faulting events on the central Tunka fault is 2700-3430 years.
