Abstract
⺠The Yanwan section of fluvial-lacustrine setting is dated to be 17.1-6.1 Ma. ⺠The ages of two fossil layers correspond to â¼8.0 Ma and â¼9.5 Ma in Yanwan section. ⺠High resolution paleoclimatic studies on this set of sediments is the next step.
