Abstract
⺠The Tomuru blueschist of Ishigaki-jima was metamorphosed at 200-230 Ma. ⺠The HP-LT rocks exhumed between Triassic and Eocene time in several stages. ⺠The Eocene upright extrusional domes were associated with a migrating step-over. ⺠The step-over was along a forearc strike-slip fault system. ⺠Metamorphosed ultramafic and gabbroic rocks were emplaced by submarine sliding.
